Assalammualaikum wr wb,

Dear ,

Zikr, as the image above says. When you have time and space from your work. Turn the PC down, get off Facebook, turn your eyes away from any documents infront of you, relax and Zikr... Subhanallah Walhamdulillah Wallahu akbar... Subhanallah Walhamdulillah Wallahu akbar... Subhanallah Walhamdulillah Wallahu akbar.

"Therefore remember Me. I will remember you. Be grateful to Me and never show Me ingratitude" - Al-Baqarah 2:152

Another week flashes through, have you had the time to reflect on your life? Are you going the way you want it to be. Have you inspired someone in your life the last one week? Have you done enough to face Allah swt on judgement day?

Reflect, reflect, reflect. As time goes by so do our age and our time on this earth. Are we getting wiser or are we just where we were yesterday or a year ago. Time for reflection. We hope you had used the Chinese New Year holidays to have those reflective moments.

So what's going on this week?

Majlis Selawat ke atas Rasulullah S.A.W siri 19

Thema: Dari Mata Ke Hati

Majlis Selawat was formed more than 2 years ago with the intentions to bring selawat from mosques to mosques. In 2012, the committee decided to base at Masjid Sultan but we felt that its time that we move again, going to new places and avenues and insyallah reaching to more people.

Majlis Selawat will be at Masjid Darussalam ( Clementi ) this Sunday, 17th February.

We are not able to stream the event LIVE as the internet connection speeds are not able to support the Live Streaming capacities. Perhaps its good that we move around as we can start to educate the mosques to upgrade to the optimal speeds so that more and more mosques are capable to stream their events LIVE.

Tazkirahs by:

1) Ustaz Mohamad Hasbi bin Haji Hassan
2) Ustaz Fahrurrazi Bin Kiyai Kassim
3) Ustaz Ahmad Helmi Bin Mohamad Hasbi
4) Ustaz Mohamad Yazid Bin Yunos

Event is in Malay

Zam Zam Water - The Power Drink

zam zam

One of the miracles of Zamzam water is its ability to satisfy both thirst and hunger. One of the Companions of the Prophet said that before Islam, the water was called "Shabbaa'ah" or satisfying. It was filling and helped them nourish their families.

After Islam, this powerful ability to quench thirst and fill stomachs remained. Prophet Muhammad said: "The best water on the face of the earth is the water of Zamzam; it is a kind of food and a healing from sickness."

According to the Muslim collection of Hadith, Abu Dharr al-Ghifari, a Companion (Sahabi), noted that when he first arrived in Makkah during the early days of Islam, not only did he satisfy his hunger and thirst but he survived only on Zamzam water for a whole month.

More recently, in the last few decades, scientists have collected samples of Zam zam water and they have found certain peculiarities that make the water healthier, like a higher level of calcium.

----

These are just among the Miracles of what Zam Zam water can provide. More info will be shared soon.

We are seliing Zam Zam Water in 10 kgs for those who wish to keep large stock for long term use. Also for those who have long term illness, you may want to consider consuming a large volume.

Small bottles are not available at this time.

A Cure for the Sick

Some fuqaha’ recommended that people should take some Zam zam water back with them to their countries, because it is a cure for those who seek healing. ‘Aa’ishah(R.A.) reported that she took Zamzam water home with her in bottles, and said, “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) took some of it away with him, and he used to pour it on the sick and give it to them to drink.” (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, 4/37).

RISE AGAIN

"Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods, lives, and the fruits of your toil. But give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. Those who say, when afflicted with calamity, 'To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return.' They are those on whom descend blessings from their Lord, and mercy. They are the ones who receive guidance." (2:155-157)

Be it that you are facing a divorce, a death in a family, loss of precious and things that makes you feel low, sad, pressured and so on. Know that this is part of life and Allah swt will test you so that we will return to him.

If we were to treat calamities as calamities, we will end up living life in a very negative state. Instead let us RISE Again to live a life that you deserve to live. We know it isn't easy and who says life must be hard?
