With the success of the last 2 years Ramadan Mutton campaigns, this year more organisations have requested for the support and the quantities requested has almost doubled of last year and this is not the finalised quantity as some of the organisations are still deciding on the menus for iftar and working it out with their cooks.

Our current target this year are as follows:

Fresh or Frozen Mutton: 3540 kg
Frozen Beef: 2115 kg

The quantities above are not finalised yet.

This year we introduce beef as part of this campaign as we found out that there are less meat waste when beef is minced compared to mutton. This will be used to cook porridge (bubur). Hence more of the organisations have requested for beef instead of mutton for this purpose.

We are about 26 days aways to Ramadan.

Alhamdulillah, so far we have managed to raise the following amount of meat (kg) for this project:

Fresh or Frozen Mutton: 547 kg
Frozen Beef: 100kg

However, currently we still require the following amount of meat (kg) to fulfil the requests that we have received from mosques and charity organisations in Singapore: 

Fresh or Frozen Mutton: 2993 kg
Frozen Beef: 2015 kg

All costs for administration & logistics - air flown, cutting and delivery to organisations are already included.
