Alhamdulillah, with the success of our Ramadan Mutton campaigns these past two years, more organisations have reached out to us for support, and the requests for meat this year have almost doubled. However, the requested quantity has not yet been finalised, as some of the organisations are still deciding on their menu for iftar, and working it out with their cooks.
This year, we aim to reach our target of:
Fresh or Frozen Mutton: 3540 kg
Frozen Beef: 2115 kg

This year, we introduced beef as part of this campaign because we found out that there's less meat waste when beef is minced compared to mutton. This will be used to cook porridge (bubur). Due to this, more organisations have requested for beef instead of mutton. Currently we have about 13 days left to Ramadan.
Alhamdulillah, so far we have managed to raise the following amount of meat (kg) for this project:
Fresh or Frozen Mutton: 904 kg
Frozen Beef: 303 kg
However, currently we still require the following amount of meat (kg) to fulfil the requests that we have received from mosques and charity organisations in Singapore:
Fresh or Frozen Mutton: 2636 kg
Frozen Beef: 1812 kg

All costs for administration & logistics - air flown, cutting and delivery to organisations are already included. For sponsors, you will receive reports of the meat distribution throughout and after Ramadan 2018.
