Assalamualaikum Wr Wb,
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Thank you for subscribing to our mailing list. InshaAllah this email finds you and your family in the best of health and imaan. May the peace and blessings of Allah SWT be upon you and your family, inshaAllah.
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “Do you know who is the one who is bankrupt?” The Sahabah said: “The bankrupt is the one who has no money, property, and possessions.” The Prophet (PBUH) said: “Among my Ummah, the one who is bankrupt is the one who will come on the Day of Resurrection with prayer and fasting and charity (to his credit), but he will come having
insulted this one, slandered that one, consumed the wealth of this one, shed the blood of that one, and beaten that one. Those who have suffered at his hand will all be given some of his Hasanaat (good deeds), and when his Hasanaat runs out, before judgment is passed, some of their sins will be taken and cast onto him. Then he will be thrown into the (Hell) Fire.” - [ Muslim ]
The act of fasting is a shield. Fasting isn't just about abstaining from food and drink, but it also incorporates abstaining from sins and improper speech and actions. It increases our sense of compassion and mercy, and reawakens the spirit of helping and solidarity. It keeps us away from evilness to the utmost. During this beautiful month of Ramadan, we should take it as an opportunity to
better ourselves by maintaining good relations with people, and being careful not to violate their rights. We should strive to treat everyone with kindness and respect.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known for his impeccable character and exemplary lifestyle. The values and attributes of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) are immeasurable. The key point for us as Muslims is to really live our lives in line with the ways of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). If we do this, we will find peace and tranquility with our Lord, ourselves, and humanity at large.
May Allah (SWT) save us from bankruptcy on the Day of Judgment, and may all the good that we do in Ramadan this year encourage us to continue doing good throughout the rest of the year, inshaAllah.
How will you give today?

Infaq Raya Hamper 2018
Let's experience the spirit of Eid together!
While we eat lontong, rendang, and many festive foods during Eid, they are small groups of people who have never been able to see Eid as we are. These groups fall under the families that have their breadwinner in prison due to drug issues. The ones that they hurt is not just them but the family they leave behind fending for themselves in this tough society.
In this project, we may not be able to solve every single one of the family issues but here we have identified about 500 families and we hope these Raya hampers will uplift their spirits this Eid.
Our Raya hampers will be distributed to Hira society beneficiary. Your contribution will help former drug addicts’ family in providing some reliefs in preparation for this coming Raya.
Hira is a body or entity that was established for the development of social and moral education especially those whose family members are involved in drugs or crime. The way to approach this group is through the method and wisdom of the contemporary science and psychology in developing a well educated and successful community.

Mission: To aid and provide poor families in Cambodia with proper housing.
While we are living in the comfort of our homes protected from the weather, others in different parts of the world may not share the same fate. Despite working day and night to support their families, they are still too poor to purchase land and build up their own houses. There are thousands of families living in poverty in Cambodia, and some of the houses are simply made of straw (as shown above). In this Wakf project, we aim to aid and provide these families with proper housing.
This project, managed by Infaq.SG, will help to purchase a small piece of land and build up the houses for these poor families. One of our staff members, who travels every 2-3 months to Cambodia to send support, will be overseeing this project.
Current Request: 10 houses
Location: 1 House @ Wilayah Koh Kong & 9 Houses @ Wilayah Sihanoukville
Completion period: 2 months + 1 month of Administration.
