Nadi Furqan presents its very first Utlu! workshop for parents, asatizahs and teachers. Specially for those who are interested to know and learn the techniques of teaching al-Quran with the learning methodology of Utlu! for kids of all ages.

This is such that educators of al-Quran are able to maximize the usage of this book comprehensively through its modern, simple and systematic approach.

Through this workshop, participants will be exposed to the Utlu! teaching aids that will assist in making al-Quran/Tajwid learning fun, interactive and meaningful.

With a fee of $180 only, participants will be entitled with a copy of Nadi Furqan's Utlu! book, certificate of participation and lunch at the Landmark Hotel.

This one-day workshop will be conducted in both the English and the Malay Language.

Kursus Pengurusan Jenazah

Kematian merupakan saat yang sangat menyedihkan dan penuh dengan emosi. Namun, ia juga boleh dipenuhi dengan harapan dan belas kasihan. Umat ​​Islam percaya bahawa kematian adalah pemergian dari kehidupan dunia ini, tetapi bukan akhir dari kewujudan seseorang. Sebaliknya, kehidupan kekal akan datang, dan kita berdoa agar rahmat Allah SWT berada bersama mereka yang telah kembali ke Rahmatullah, dengan harapan mereka akan mendapat kedamaian dan kebahagiaan kelak.

Bagaimana pula dengan keluarga atau saudara-mara yang terdekat pada saat itu? Ia sangat mudah untuk menyuruh mereka bertenang dan bersabar apabila sedang menghadapi kematian, tetapi tanpa ilmu pengetahuan dan panduan yang betul, seringkali ahli keluarga akan menghadapi masalah. Dalam sesetengah situasi, anggota keluarga akan membuat keputusan yang tidak sesuai yang boleh menyebabkan lebih banyak kesulitan.

Jika situasi ini berlaku dalam keluarga anda, adakah anda tahu apa yang harus dilakukan?

Kursus ini akan diadakan selama 2 hari, dan akan merangkumi aspek teori, praktikal, asas-asas ilmu pengendalian jenazah dan juga akan dikongsikan tentang kes-kes / keadaan yang berbeza yang akan timbul dalam situasi sedemikian.

1. Langkah-langkah yang perlu diambil apabila kematian dalam keluarga berlaku.
2. Menelefon polis atau doktor terlebih dahulu?
3. Kematian disebabkan kemalangan. Apakah tindakan seterusnya yang wajar?
4. Kematian di luar negara. Apa yang diperlukan atau tidak diperlukan? Kebumikan di luar negara atau dibawa pulang ke Singapura?
5. Adat Melayu: Kain batik lepas. Adakah ia perlu?

Topik-topik ini (dan banyak lagi) akan dibincangkan secara terperinci di dalam kursus ini.

Alhamdulillah, with the success of our Ramadan Mutton Project 2016 and 2017, this year we are looking to provide red meat to the organisations that benefitted from our Ramadan Mutton projects for the past two years. We also wish to provide meat from this project to a few more beneficiaries. 

This project will help to greatly reduce the costs for organisations that provide bubur iftar for Ramadan 2018.

In 2017, we managed to raise more than 4000kg of mutton. However, due to last minute requests, the quantity raised was insufficient, hence some of the organisations had to change to another type of meat for their iftar especially for the last week of Ramadan. This year by starting this project early, we hope to raise more so we can cater to the needs of the organisations.

Hajj Badal Hajj Badal is the term use for performing Hajj on behalf of others. To do so one must meet the requirements for Hajj Badal. 1) This person must have passed away or is very sick (have no hope for surviving). 2) If best it must come from the wealth of the deceased that was left behind.  3) The family must have the financial means to do so after paying all the debts of the deceased.  4) The cost of Hajj Badal cannot be more than 1/3 the cost of an actual person going for Hajj. 5) The performer that performs this on behalf of the deceased must have gone for Hajj before. What if all the wealth left behind was just enough to pay the debts he owed to others and nothing left behind? Then this is not compulsory for the family to perform Hajj Badal as it does not meet the requirement above. What if the family members still insists on doing so for them as they pool the money for this? May Allah swt reward them for this effort but please take note it is still not compulsory to do Hajj Badal for this deceased person because of the requirements not met. Do not put burden onto yourself nor your family if you don't have the financial means. Allah knows best. To sum up, Hajj Badal is only for one whom had wealth and was not able to perform the Hajj during his/her lifetime. Hajj Badal 1439H / 2018 Package Who will perform the Hajj Badal for you?  Islamicevents.sg is working with various agencies in Singapore and Malaysia to organise this activity. Little Sahabah After School Program Dear Busy Parents,   Are you looking for a center where your primary school child (7 years old to 14 years old) can be taken care of while you are busy at work after they are done with school (1.30pm to 7pm)?    Wish that your child reads the Quran daily and have someone to ensure that they perform their prayers?    Introducing the “Little Sahabah After School Program”   In this program, your child would be guided by a trained teacher with their homework and spelling tests, have daily Quran reading and memorisation sessions with a qualified Quran teacher. Furthermore they will be engaged under a program called Ghazali Project.
