Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

 

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with You in any way, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know. Ameen.

In less than a month, Ramadan is about to arrive. People say '"pejam celik pejam celik" a year has already passed.

The month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings in which all Muslims race to reap the rewards not only by fasting but also other practices.

But before that, are we all ready to celebrate Ramadan this time? Let's check a little checklist that we need to make before Ramadan this time:

1. Take care of your health

The most important thing you need to focus on is health. 
We need to take care of our health to ensure that we can perform fasting properly and smoothly. Avoid doing things that affect your health. Take the opportunity to worship as much as possible. With good health, InshaAllah we can also perform other sunnah acts such as tarawih prayers.

2. Check the law and the pillars of fasting

It is important for us to review the law of hakam, the pillars, matters of invalidating fasting and so on. Fasting is once a year affaie. Maybe there's a part we forget. This is to ensure that the worship we do is not in vain.

3. Know some good practices

This is the time of the fasting month, we want to reap many rewards because the month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings. So why don't we take note of the good practices that we can do during this fast. For example, reading the Quran, sunnah prayers and more.

4. Mujahadah wakes up at night

In the science of tasawwuf, mujahadah focuses more on the effort to fight lust in earnest to achieve the pleasure of Allah.  People who are mujahadah are called mujahid. During this month of Ramadan, we are all encouraged to perform mujahadah by staying awake at night. It is very unfortunate in this day and age that people stay up at night not to worship but to commit sins. The beauty of an expensive night is exchanged for stains and sins.

5. Take care of the tongue & talk less

During fast we must keep all our words and speech. Keep your tongue from vile things like backbiting and cursing.  Those who like to talk a lot, it's good to start to reduce talking about useless things. Remember, the more we talk, the more mistakes we make.


Okay the last step you need to do is remind each other. Not only the physical and mental need to be prepared, but every intention that is tickled in the heart also needs to be emphasized.
