The context of getting married at a young age nowadays is increasingly accepted by the society.
Perhaps young couples these back then always avoid from getting married young because it seems like marriage is an obstacle for them to do many things in the future. Among them are chasing after a good career, pursuing education to a higher level, exploring the world and enjoying doing their hobbies. But actually getting married early has its benefits that couples in love can take advantage of. And to be able to pursue something that you thought will be
hindered because of marriage, is a plus point.
Subdue the gaze and keep yourself from mingling and socializing freely
Rasulullah s.a.w. emphasize that through marriage it can help one to lower their gaze and preserve their genitals better.
In the current context, the mingling and socializing between men and women seems to be increasingly open and with no limitation. This free association can lead to disobedience. For example, we are often presented with news of widespread baby abandonment caused by the damned acts of some couples.
Therefore, among the benefits that can be obtained when getting married at a young age is that it can reduce the occurrence of such incidents. It can prevent couples who are in love from falling into such act and at the same time reduce cases of baby abandonment.
Religious Claim
After the couple establishes the household, they have officially become a halal couple and no longer have to fear the negative views of others. Building a household is like building a mosque. It is a religious claim recommended in Islam. Romantic relationships are encouraged to expedite the affairs of marriage if there are sufficient conditions and are eligible to marry.
The marriage should not be based on lustful desires alone but aims to preserve the good name of religion of Allah s.w.t and keep the human genitals from being trapped from any stains and sins.
Becoming more responsible and developing a mature mind
Marriage tend to develop one into a mature person when they starts to have a sense of responsibility with the partner they are married to. Through marriage, one is commited to take care of their life partner and also the family.
Young married couples tend to learn faster about life, thus making them mature faster and will be able in managing the family matters well Insyaallah.
