For every cent means saving a precious life.
Whenever we use the word "stingy" it is not only subject to our refusal to give money or property. It can also be aimed at someone who does not want to share the knowledge they have.
The words of the Prophet s.a.w. meaning "Whoever is asked about a science and then he hides it, surely he will be tied on the Day of Resurrection with a rope from hell" (Hadith Narrated by al-Tirmizi and judged authentic by al-Albani in Sahih Sunan al-Tirmizi (Maktabah al-Ma ' arif, Riyadh 2000), hadith no: 2649).
A reminder for all of us not to be stingy and greedy for the knowledge we must share. The knowledge gained is not only used for self -interest and should best be shared. There are too many arguments as to why existing knowledge should be shared to avoid threats to knowledgeable people, among them.
The words of the Prophet s.a.w. "The parable of the knowledgeable person who teaches goodness to people and forgets himself is like a lamp that illuminates others and burns himself" (Hadith Narrated by At-thabrani).
The words of the Prophet s.a.w. "Great misfortune for those who do not know (not knowledgeable) and great misfortune for those who know (knowledgeable) and then do not practice it (knowledge)" (Hadith Narrated by Abu Nuaim).
The words of the Prophet s.a.w. "People who have knowledge and deeds (enter) in paradise, then when people who have knowledge do not practice (their knowledge) then knowledge and deeds enter paradise and people who have knowledge enter hell" (Hadith Narrated by Ad-Dailami).
From Abu Hurairah r.a. said: The Messenger of Allah s.a.w. "The parable of the person who learns knowledge and then does not give it (to others) is like the person who keeps wealth and then does not spend part of it" (Hadith Narrated by At-Tabarani).
That is why we are encouraged to share knowledge. Many kinds of science but not used is nowhere to be found. The word of Allah means "And spend (what you have) for (upholding) the religion of Allah, and do not deliberately throw yourselves into the danger of destruction (by being stingy); and improve (with the best of all efforts and) your deeds; for verily Allah loves those who strive to improve their deeds
(doing good) ”(Surah Al-Baqarah verse 195)
