ALLAH warned His servants that wealth is a slander that will cause people to neglect to remember Him.

FITNAH property is a slander that will hit people in the end of time until it leads to great neglect of Allah SWT.  Humans will continue to search for wealth to meet current needs leading to a great impact on faith and obedience to Allah SWT.

Allah SWT said the meaning: "And know that your possessions and your children are only a test and indeed with Allah is a great reward."  (al-Anfal, verse 28)

It is said that wealth and children are defamation refers to both the cause of human negligence from fulfilling religious obligations and also the cause of the loss of efforts to increase worship to Allah SWT. 

Originally, wealth was not blameworthy, even Allah SWT referred to wealth as khair (goodness) in the Quran.

Human worship will be affected due to wealth.  The perfection of worship is also closely related to wealth.  A righteous person who manages a good property will have many affairs made easier from it.  Their honor is lifted either from the view of Allah SWT or humans.  The relationship with God will improve, the sustenance will always increase without realizing it, giving peace in worship.  Relationships with people, many acquaintances and easily respected by the community.  A generous attitude by giving gifts, food and others will produce strength in worship.

The Prophet SAW said the meaning:  "The best property is the property owned by the pious."  (Hadith Narrated by Bukhari)

The Prophet SAW said, from Ka'ab bin Iyadh, meaning: "Indeed, every nation has slander and the slander of my ummah is a treasure."  (Hadith History of Al-Tirmizi hadith no: 2439)

People who are tested with abundant wealth will be luxurious.  Allah explained about the situation of people who like to live in luxury will be opponents of the Messenger of Allah SWT as in the story of Qarun.  Allah SWT said: "And We did not send to a country a warner, but the people who live luxuriously in that country say: Verily we deny what you were sent to convey."  (Saba', verse 34)

Therefore, be careful with the defamation of property that will test people.  Humans will start to become a person who is always dissatisfied with the wealth they have until they become stingy and don't like to give charity.  Then the relationship between people will be strained and broken.  The miserly nature that is sculpted will give birth to anger and hatred towards each other.  Then people will be further away from the true religious foundation due to wealth.
