Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with You in any way, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know. Ameen.
Mabrur Hajj according to language is a good pilgrimage or one that is accepted by Allah SWT. Meanwhile, according to syar'i terms, Hajj Mabrur is a pilgrimage that is carried out in accordance with the instructions of Allah and His Messenger, taking into account various conditions, pillars, and obligations, and avoiding things that are prohibited (muharramat) with full concentration and appreciation solely. on the encouragement of faith and hoping for the
pleasure of Allah.
In the hadith narrated by Bukhari, the Prophet s.a.w. provide an explanation regarding the reward or reward for the pilgrims who get the mabrur predicate.
"There is no reward (deserved to be given) for the mabrur pilgrimage except heaven," (HR Bukhari).
Regarding mabrur, there are many opinions of scholars. First, the mabrur pilgrimage is a pilgrimage that is not mixed with disobedience, and the word "al-mabrur" is taken from the word al-birr which means obedience. In other words, Hajj Mabrur is a pilgrimage that is carried out with full obedience so that it is not mixed with sin.
Second, that the mabrur pilgrimage is the maqbul pilgrimage (accepted) and is rewarded with al-birr (goodness), namely the reward. While the proof that a person's pilgrimage is maqbul or mabrur is that he returns to being better than before and does not repeat immoral acts.
Third, the mabrur pilgrimage is a pilgrimage that does not have riya.
Fourth, mabrur pilgrimage is a pilgrimage that is not accompanied by disobedience. If we look carefully, the third and fourth opinions are basically already included in the previous opinion.
Between one opinion and the other are basically interrelated and support each other. The point is that the mabrur pilgrimage is a pilgrimage that is carried out with various conditions as perfect as possible.
The predicate mabrur is indeed God's prerogative to be pinned to the servant He wills.
Wallahualam.
