In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with You in any way, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know. Ameen.
Our body is not our absolute property. It is a
temporary loan given by Allah to be use in this world to find enough rewards for the benefit of the hereafter. That is why our body parts will be the witnesses to what we have done while living in this world.
Taking care of the health of the body is an Amanah that has been given by Allah to us. We are able to keep the Amanah in worshiping Allah, we are able to keep the Amanah of looking after our wife and children but we neglect to keep the
Amanah of our health. We eat whatever food we can consume without considering whether it is beneficial or harmful to our body and later ended up suffering from various chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, kidney disease, heart disease and the like. Many practice the principle of 'live to eat' instead of 'eat to live'.
Islam is very concerned about maintaining the health of the body. It also outlines the principles and
way of life that lead to a peaceful, peaceful life and free from any epidemic and disease. Islam also makes the principle of 'preventing before treating' a priority in the lives of its people.
Those who are physically healthy and spiritually strong are those who are able to worship perfectly and strive to uphold the teachings of Islam. They are definitely closer to and favored by Allah than those who are weak, weak and unable to exert their
strength for religion.
Be prudent in eating by eating halal, clean, balanced and nutritious food so that our body is always healthy and then we can worship Allah perfectly and solemnly. Physically strong and able to make any contribution to fellow believers wherever they are. ontributions to religion will certainly be stunted if our bodies are troubled and will even interfere with the devotion of our worship.
May Allah have mercy and grant us the awareness to take care of the trust of the body perfectly so as not to be blamed in the afterlife.
Wallahu 'alam.
