Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with You in any way, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know. Ameen.

Many scientists were stunned by the accuracy of the Qur'an in recording scientific facts even though it was a text that was seen as isolated from scientific technology at the time. 

Here are some facts that are certified to coincide with the scientific knowledge contained in the Al-Quran. 

Human Genesis 

The biologists of the world discovered that the creation of humans happened with the combination of sperm and ovum that formed a zygote. 

This process is clearly explained in the Quran in surah Al-Mukminun 12-14: 

"Then We created his descendants to multiply from the semen that was stored firmly in the womb until the time of his birth." 

"Then We made that essence into semen stored in a strong place which is the womb in the woman's stomach." 

The circulation of the sun and the earth 

For a long time scientists have studied and concluded that the planets revolve around the sun while the moon revolves around the earth. 

They also discovered that all the planets and stars have their own orbits. 

This has also been explained in the Al-Quran since more than 1,400 years ago. 

"And it is He (God) who has made the night and the day, as well as the sun and the moon;  each one floating around in its respective place of circulation (in outer space)." - Al-Anbiya: 33 

"and the sun walks in its course.  Such is the decree of the Almighty and All-Knowing." - Yaasin: 38 

Fingerprint 

The world today admits that even though humans have existed for so long and there are billions of them, the facts about human fingerprints are very magical. 

Al-Quran is not a science book but it has been stated about it for a long time in surah Al-Qiyaamah: 3-4. 

"Should man think that We will not be able to collect his bones (and revive him)? 

"It is not as thought, in fact We have the power to arrange (with the perfection of all the bones) of his fingers, (bones that are finer than others)."
