In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with You in any way, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know. Ameen.
Purpose of Marriage According to the Qur'an
In Islamic teachings,
marriage is a very strong contract and one of the acts of worship that is bound by the rules that have been outlined by Allah s.w.t. and His Messenger. Therefore, marriage is not something to play around with, and in order to reach a marriage bond, the prospective husband and wife must have the knowledge of how to build a household that is sakinah mawaddah and rahmah according to the values contained in the Al-Qur'an.
The creation of men and women from the human race is one of the
proofs that show His oneness. By making humans in pairs, Allah s.w.t. want to provide peace for the couple and to have fun between them. As the words of Allah s.w.t. in surah Ar-Rum verse 21 as follows:
"and among the signs of his greatness is that he creates mates for you from your own kind so that you may be inclined and feel at ease with him and he creates between you a sense of love and affection."
Other sentences that have a similar meaning:
"He
is the one who created you from one soul (Adam) and from him he created his partner, so that he would feel happy with him."
Marriage aims to create a family life that is sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah. And in order to realize that goal, the commitment of husband and wife is needed to carry out their respective rights and obligations according to their abilities. The husband fulfills his obligations as a husband as well as the head of the household and the wife fulfills her
obligations as a wife as well as a housewife, so that a harmonious atmosphere will be created if all obligations can be carried out. Of course the reciprocity with the fulfillment of all obligations then the rights as a husband or as a wife will be fulfilled by itself, so that peace (sakinah) based on love in living the household ark as a purpose of marriage will be easily realized.

Surah al-Kahfi is a light that illuminates the path of guidance for whoever reads it, as
it stops Muslims from disobedience and sins, and guides them to the path of goodness and righteousness. And it may
be a real, tangible light, as it was reported from the Prophet s.a.w. that who recites Surah Kahfi on Friday, a light will shine for him from under his feet to the clouds of heaven that will shine with it on the Day of Resurrection.
Also, Surah Al-Kahfi protects its reader from the temptation of the Dajjal by
memorizing the first ten verses of it.
Surat Al Kahf talked about many incidents. The story of the people of the cave (As-haabul Kahf) is the most famous, hence the surah gets its name. The story of the man of the gardens, the story of Musa a.s. and Khidr, and the story of Dhul-Qarnayn “Just Leader”. The surah
also has many verses with benefits, instructions, and teachings for Muslims.
