Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with You in any way, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know. Ameen.
If you follow the logic of reason, no one is willing to gamble on their own unknown fate for the sake of the survival of others.
Imagine,
maybe we only have enough money left to refuel the vehicle before reaching home, but some people ask for help because they haven't eaten in a few days.
But out of pity, we give some of the money available to the individual concerned.
If you are in that
situation, have faith in ALLAH SWT and believe that there is another reward waiting for us.
In fact, the reward is definitely multiple times the amount.
ALLAH SWT said: "And hasten to (doing good
deeds to get forgiveness from your Lord and (get) heaven whose area is as wide as all the heavens and the earth prepared for the pious people; that is, those who donate their wealth in times of good and bad, and those who restrain their anger, and those who forgive people's faults. And (remember), ALLAH SWT loves those who do good deeds." (Surah Ali 'Imran, verse 133-134)
Don't worry even when you're in trouble because giving charity when you're in trouble is the best thing to do.
Although the number is small, the important thing is that we are sincere and calm.
Surrender to ALLAH and hopefully we will get the reward we deserve.
Wallahua'lam.
