Who would have thought, apart from being useful as an anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial, honey also has benefits for brightening the skin. The anti-bacterial content in honey helps overcome and soothe inflammation, protects the skin from germs so that the skin becomes bright,
moist and nutritious.
If you want to get bright and well-maintained skin, you can mix honey with other natural ingredients, for example lemon and yoghurt. Mix one tablespoon of fresh yoghurt and one and a half tablespoons of honey. Apply this mixture all over your face and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water.
5. Prevents premature aging
As you get older, your skin becomes dull and there are wrinkles on your face. However, this can be overcome by using honey. Honey contains various natural antioxidants such as polyphenols and flavonoids which help the skin overcome damage to collagen which can reduce existing signs of aging.
