For every cent means saving a precious life
Everyone who performs Umrah and will visit the land of Madinah should know the advantages of this blessed land.
It is a loss if we travel so far to go to such a beautiful place but we do not know the advantages, in fact
there is a reward that we can grab in the land of Madinah.
1. In it there is a Forbidden Land
Rasulullah s.a.w. has made Madinah the Haram Land and prays for the blessing of its members
Meaning of Hadith: "Indeed Ibrahim forbade Mecca and prayed for it and I forbade Madinah just as Ibrahim forbade Mecca and I
prayed for (blessings of) the cupak and the bush just as Abraham prayed for Mecca."
2. An-Nabawi Mosque
The reward of praying in An-Nabawi Mosque is doubled as much as 1000 times compared to praying in other Mosques. This is based on the hadith:
"The reward of praying in this mosque is a thousand times better than praying in other mosques except
the Masjidil Haram mosque. (Sahih Al-Bukhari & Muslim)
3. Raudhah – Garden of Heaven
The words of the Prophet s.a.w:
"between my house and my pulpit is a garden (raudhah) from the gardens of heaven" [narrated by At-Tirmidhi]
4. Quba Mosque
The Quba' Mosque is the second of the two mosques that have priority and an important position in the city of Medina. The two mosques were built on the basis of piety from day one.
The reward of praying at the Quba Mosque is similar to the reward of Umrah:
"Whoever purifies himself in his house and then comes to the Quba' Mosque, then he prays there, then he gets the reward
of Umrah" [HR. Ibn Majah and others]
5. The burial place of the body of the Prophet s.a.w
After the Messenger of Allah died and was bathed, shrouded and prayed, then when he was going to be buried it was not carried out on the same day, because there was a difference of opinion among the companions as to where the Prophet should be buried. Finally Abu Bakar's friend asked that the Prophet be
buried in his bed, where he died.
Prophet s.a.w. died at the house of his wife Aishah r.a. which is located near the Prophet's Mosque at that time. It is recommended to visit the grave of the noble Prophet and greet him.
6. Grave of Baqi'
Baqi' is the Muslim cemetery in Madina, there are many graves of the Companions.
Prophet s.a.w. first went out to the al-Baqi' cemetery to visit the dead by saying:
It means: "Peace be upon you O people of the grave from among the believers and what Allah SWT has promised you will be found by you tomorrow (the Hereafter). And we will also follow you, God willing." [Reported by Muslim (974)]
7. Uhud Hill and Uhud Martyrs
Uhud Hill is a hill that the Prophet s.a.w loved very much.
The words of the Prophet s.a.w.:
Meaning: "This is a good city and this is Uhud which is the hill that loves us and we love it." [Narrated by al-Bukhari (4422)]
The battle of Uhud also took place on the hill of Uhud and in its area are buried more than 70 of
His Majesty's Companions who died in the war, including the uncle of the Prophet s.a.w. Hamzah r.a.
8. A place that is very loved by the Prophet & the Companions
Madinah is a city that is very loved by the Prophet s.a.w., the Prophet prayed to make his love for Madinah equal to his love for Mecca or more, he said:
"O Allah, make us love
Madinah as much as we love Mecca or even more" (HR Al-Bukhari)
