For every cent means
saving a precious life
Principles of life:
1. Find your vision
This principle is also the basis of every Muslim action. It is contained in the words of the Prophet s.a.w.:
"Indeed, every practice depends on the intention." [HR Bukhari]
Intention is a must in Islam. Without intention, no practice is accepted. Intention is simply knowing the purpose of the action.
However, for Muslims, the purpose not only needs to be correct according to the Sharia, but the wasilah to achieve the purpose also
needs to be according to the Sharia.
2. Ignore the naysayers
It is impossible for humans to make everyone agree with them. Everyone has their own way of thinking based on knowledge and ego. So the best way is to just ignore the talk of people who are always unhappy.
3. Perseverance
Perseverance is an important Islamic teaching. The Word of Allah s.w.t.:
"Whoever is devoted to Us, We will guide them to Our path." [al-Ankabut: 69]
The Prophet also said:
"Indeed Allah likes when a person does something, he is diligent."
[HR Baihaqi]
4. Don't just take, give back
This matter is not alien in Islam. Giving charity and helping is a highly encouraged practice. There is even obligatory charity which is a pillar of Islam, called zakat.
If we want God to help our affairs, we need to help
other people's affairs. The words of the Prophet s.a.w.:
"Allah will always help His servant as long as His servant helps his brother." [HR Muslim]
Almsgiving also has great advantages such as increased sustenance, recovery from illness, forgiveness of sins, softening of the soul and so on.
5. Allah is
the ultimate goal
This principle is at the top of the order. Make God everything in this life. Loyalty to God is a priority. Always ask yourself before doing something "does God approve of what I am doing?" Am I free to answer before Him later?"
Putting Allah as the main goal is the pledge of every Muslim as a preface in every
prayer:
"Say: "Indeed, my prayer and my worship, my life and my death, are only for Allah, the Lord who preserves and governs all the worlds." [al-An'am: 162]
6. Never blame the fate
This matter is also exclusive to Muslims. Believing in God's provisions is the
sixth pillar of Faith.
Humans need to realize that not everything that is planned will succeed. God also plans and He is the best planner. Therefore, we do not need to be disappointed if we fail, but instead understand that everything that happens is wise and good for us.
The best stance in accepting destiny is to realize that all this
life is not ours. It belongs to God and we are just borrowing it. There will come a time when God will claim it back. It's only when we lose or fail that we don't feel pain, we even feel content.
Wallahu'alam
