Fun facts! Masjid Hajjah Fatimah is a first local mosque to be named after woman, located along the Beach Road in Kampong Glam District. She was a wife to Daing Chanda Pulih, a Bugis prince but, eventually passed away when Hajjah Fatimah was still young.

her husband's wealth and business and combined it with her boats. Her successful business led her to becoming known as the "Sultana of Gowa". Unfortunately, the succession had brought calamity to her residence....
