If someone vomits on purpose then his fast is void. And if the vomiting is not intentional, then it is not void.
Evidence from this problem is the hadith of Abu Hurairah, that the Prophet s.a.w. said,
"Whoever vomits on purpose should perform qada' and whoever vomits unintentionally, then there is no qada' for him." (HR. Abu Dawud)
Does fasting break if cupping?
It does not invalidate the fast when cupping if necessary as per the hadith,
Ibn Abbas r.a. said, "The Prophet s.a.w. cupped (blood drawn) when he was fasting." (H.R. Bukhari)
