Fundraising to support our home-based and micro-businesses
Assalamu’alaikum wr. wb.,
Dear ,
We are happy to share with you the progress of our Greenhouse Project Incubator.
Alhamdulillah with the support from the community we have raised slightly over $1k for the project over the past 2 months. But we are still far from our goal for this program to develop sufficiently.
Like growing trees, we hope for your generous contributions to be able to provide sufficient nutrition (i.e resources) for our micro-businesses to grow.
Banker turned baker since 2014, Rina churns cookies and cakes using premium ingredients, tweaking recipes and making it her own. She runs her home-based business under the brand Vainpout.
Rina has been awarded the 10 Most Inspiring Home-Based Womenpreneurs given by SMCCI in 2019 and has since been actively involved with SMCCI and is now serving as a Honorary Secretary for their women's wing, DEWI.
Capitalising not just social media like FB & IG, her bakes are also
available on Halalfoodhunt, Shopee and GrabFood. A living proof that success comes to even those baking from home.
She aspires to build a platform for home-based business owners to sell their bakes and in the long run, operate a brick-and-mortar retail shop.
The Greenhouse project is a business incubation program for home-based and micro-businesses. It is the brainchild of our Co-Founder, Fazli Mansor.
It is a
pilot project to improve the employment and employability of our community as part of the “Tunas bersama M3” program.
Fazli was selected as one of the 13 young community leaders representing our MMOs and have since undergone an 18-months leadership program organised by Yayasan Mendaki.
