Giving Charity Routinely
In carrying out a practice, the Prophet reminded, to do it according to one's ability.
From 'Aishah, the Prophet s.a.w. said,
"O people, do the practice according to your ability. Because Allah is not bored until you feel
bored. (Know that) the practice most loved by Allah is a continuous practice even if it is little. (HR Muslim)
Routine Almsgiving at Dawn
In Allah's presence, no deed is in vain, even if the deed we do is only as small as a particle, it will surely be a reward.
"So whoever does a particle's worth of good, he will surely see (the reward). And whoever commits
an evil even as small as a particle, he will surely see (retribution) as well."
(QS Az Zalzalah: 7-8)
Even from those few practices, we will surely reap a lot of rewards because we always do it regularly. With Allah's will, it will be a savings that will make you happy in the afterlife.
Among the sunnah practices that we can do routinely, one of them is giving charity in the
morning. This practice not only invites blessings, but also we will be prayed for by the angels.
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said that the Messenger of Allah said, "When the servant was in the morning, there were two angels who came down and prayed, 'O Allah, give instead to those who like to spend.' The other angels prayed, 'O Allah, give bankruptcy to those refuse to give alms.'" (HR Bukhari and Muslim)
