Like every year, everyone, including 'Aisha, looks forward to celebrating the holy month of Ramadhan.
However, this year was different - ‘Aisha is five
months pregnant. For a whole month, she longed to fast, but one afternoon she felt lightheaded and sick, making it difficult for her to keep up her fast.
In order to protect herself and her unborn child, she broke her fast.
After several months, Aisha is still unclear about her circumstances: does she needs to pay fidyah in addition to making up for the days she missed, or does she only needs to make up for the missed fast.....?
