Assalammualaikum wr wb,
Dear
,
Imagine a family torn apart, not by anger or betrayal, but by silence. Every day, mental health struggles like anxiety, depression, and OCD quietly erode the fabric of our relationships, leaving couples emotionally distant, children confused, and families fragmented. In our community, many marriages bear this weight in
silence, impacting not just the couple, but their children, friends, and extended family.
What if we could change that? What if, as a community, we took a bold step to break the silence? For over 15 years, APKIM has been standing by families, offering guidance and support during their darkest moments. We’ve seen how much strength there is in
shared understanding—and how much healing comes when we finally start talking.
This November, at the 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, we’re coming together to tackle these challenges head-on. This isn’t just another event. It’s a movement to bring our community out of the shadows, to nurture resilience in our
families, and to empower each other to find strength in our faith.
If you’ve ever felt the strain of mental health struggles within your family or witnessed it in someone you love, you won’t want to miss this chance to be part of something bigger.
Here’s what awaits you:
☑️Eye-opening sessions on how mental health issues affect family relationships, with practical ways to nurture stronger bonds.
☑️Faith-inspired guidance to help you or your loved ones manage guilt, anxiety, and the challenges that affect our
relationships.
☑️A safe, supportive community ready to stand with you, embrace you, and remind you that you are not alone.
