Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

We pray this message finds you in the best of health and steadfast iman.

It is not too late to wish Ramadhan Kareem to all our Muslim brothers and sisters. All praise to Allah s.w.t. for this nikmah of meeting the blessful month of Ramadhan again and for the opportunity to be fasting in this holy month. May Allah s.w.t. ease our affair in performing our fast and Ibadah and accept all of our deeds. Ameen.

Fasting in essence can essentially be interpreted as to purify oneself and one's soul. So, the soul becomes pure, therefore not only becoming a Muslim/believer, but also having the highest measure, namely piety to Allah/having the predicate of muttakin.

A pious person has a pure soul, has a high level of awareness in terms of fulfilling obligations, obedience and commands of Allah Ta'ala and in avoiding His prohibitions. Of course, to purify oneself/one's soul, good seeds/seeds are needed. The soul can be purified if the input is good, so that the soul can grow well. It should be noted that the input can be negative input and positive input. Positive intake, good mindset, speech, actions and behavior, both in order to improve oneself, be kind to the environment, are based on compassion, love, avoiding envy, jealousy and revenge. So what grows from positive seeds is able to purify a person's soul.

However, if what fills the soul is negative input, then the results of the soul's growth are also negative. Thus, the meaning given by Allah in the form of fasting during Ramadan is a medium that can control the soul to distance itself from these negative inputs. Thus, it is positive input that is then absorbed, so that it can truly purify oneself until reaching the degree of piety.

However, all of that depends on how the individual view fasting in the month of Ramadhan is like.

May we take the opportunity during this time of the year to reflect and get closer to Allah s.w.t.

We have moved. Just a week before Ramadan, we found a new office and decided to move. Took us many days to pack and 3 nights to move our equipment. Currently we are in the mids of organising the whole office and insyallah will be back in full steam the next few days.
