Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi
wabarakatuh,
Asmaul Husna are 99 beautiful and noble names of Allah s.w.t. that describe His attributes. Linguistically, Asmaul Husna means "the best names". Muslims believe that by reciting and understanding the meaning of Asmaul Husna, one can increase faith and get closer to Allah s.w.t.
The 53rd Asmaul Husna is Al-Wakil meaning God as the representative. This means that whatever humans do, it is certainly only to Allah s.w.t. that all work is entrusted. Allah s.w.t. is the only one who has the right to be represented in all affairs, both world affairs and the hereafter.
For example, a father entrusts the matter of marrying off his
daughter to a judge, then the work of marrying off the daughter has been entrusted to the judge. Other people are not eligible to be the representative of the guardian, except the judge who has been delegated.
Therefore, Allah s.w.t. who calls Himself Al-Wakil means that He is the one who takes all responsibility for His servants. Allah s.wt. is
truly the one in whom humans place their trust.
Allah s.w.t. is the guardian of everything, including His creatures. He is the one who organizes and takes care of all their affairs.
Following Al-Wakil means being confident that Allah s.w.t. is the place we rely on and
hand over all matters. After trying as much as possible, we trust (hand over the results) to Him.
What ever it is, it is important to remember to put forth work hard before relying on Allah s.w.t. solely for the results.
Wallahu a’lam.

We hope that the knowledge gain will be useful in the future
Our trainer, Bro Amir running through the theory aspects of the course.
Ladies practical for bathing the mayit.
Insyallah this July 2025, we welcome Dr Shaykha Haifaa Younis for 2 events. Infact we are less than 10 days away.
Tickets are still available for Tarbiyah of the Nation, 19th July 2025.
We have to be honest. It has not been an easy journey organising these conferences with Dr. Haifaa Younis, as we’ve faced numerous challenges along the way.
From unexpected venue changes and funding hurdles to the ongoing effort of coordinating programs and logistics, each step has tested our patience and perseverance.
Yet, we remain committed because we believe in the value this brings to our community. We humbly ask for your continued support and duʿāʾ, that Allah ﷻ eases our affairs, blesses our efforts, and allows these events to touch hearts and inspire lives. May He make the path smooth and rewarding for all involved.
Aug 2025: Umrah DIY Program
With the loosening of VISAs, many of you may be planning to embark on Umrah independently. DIY does comes with its flexibility and its perks but when things does not go well who would you turn to for help. Insyallah this will happen in July or August this year.
Although this is a 12-hour course, it remains one of the most comprehensive and practical Islamic inheritance courses open to the public in Singapore — and that is
precisely why we continue to run it, year after year.
Inheritance (faraidh) is a fundamental obligation in Islam, yet it is one of the least understood areas among our community. Many assume it is simply a matter of “letting the family handle it” when the time comes, but in reality, a lack of planning and knowledge often leads to disputes, delays in distributing estates,
unnecessary legal costs, and sometimes even injustice to rightful heirs.
This course addresses those challenges holistically. It does not just stop at explaining the religious rulings on faraidh — it takes participants through the entire inheritance journey, combining:
✅ A solid foundation in Islamic principles (faraidh calculations, the rights of heirs, and the wisdom behind them),
✅ An explanation of Singapore’s legal and financial frameworks — covering CPF nominations, insurance payouts, wills, probate, and the Syariah Court’s role.
✅ A hands-on, guided will-writing workshop, where participants begin drafting a real will under expert guidance.
By the end of the course, participants walk away not only with knowledge, but with tangible action steps they can take to protect their family, fulfil their Islamic duties, and avoid future complications.
The 12 hours are intentionally spread over three sessions, giving participants the time to absorb the knowledge, ask questions, and reflect on their own family situations — something no 1-hour talk or simple booklet can replace.
Every year we see new faces attending, and
every batch reminds us how much this knowledge is still needed. Life stages change, laws evolve, and new generations of Muslims step up to take responsibility for their families’ future.
That is why we continue to run this course: because inheritance is not just a legal matter or a religious technicality — it is a responsibility, a trust (amanah) from Allah ﷻ to ensure
justice and care for those we leave behind.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The sins between one umrah and another are wiped away, but for an acceptable hajj, there is no reward except paradise.” (Narrated by Bukhari & Muslim)
Pilgrimage to Mecca, also known as hajj, is an obligation for a Muslim who is physically and financially able. It is one of the five pillars of Islam and for most Muslims, it is the dream of a lifetime.
Particularly for Hajj, it needs to be paid for with pure savings and because you cannot borrow money to perform Hajj, Muslims are encouraged to save and invest for this expense as soon as possible.
Save and invest to fulfil the 5th pillar of our faith.
