Wasiat
Wasiat is a declaration of a person made during his/her lifetime with respect to his/her property or benefit thereof, to be carried out for the purpose of charity or for any other purpose
permissible by Islamic Law after his death.
Rulings of Wasiat
Wajib: If by
not doing wasiat, the money will be lost or gone
Sunnah: Original hukum of wasiat, afdhal
Mubah/Harus: Bequest
to a rich person or non-Muslim
Makruh: Bequest more than 1/3
Haram: Bequest to someone who will use for sin
(maksiat); or aim to harm or displace their heir
