Quranic Arabic (Module 1 & 2)

Have you tried to understand what the Imams at the mosques are reading/reciting during prayers? Or when you open the Quran, do you to keep referring to the meanings? 

What if you can read and understand the Arabic text or listen to a recitation and understand it without referring to the translations? Well for sure you can memorise the Quran and memorise the translations/tafsir? Definitely the way to go. 

But what if we tell you that there is a better way to do so?

In the past and till today, scholars of Islam placed great emphasis on learning Classical Arabic. Knowing the foundation and the roots of how the language is structured will definitely help one understand what we are reading and what Allah SWT is conveying to us. 

How does this help you? 
- Every time you read the Quran, you know what Allah SWT is emphasising.
- You will start to feel closer to our Creator. Insyallah. 
- You can focus and appreciate the beautiful Quran Arabic language.
- You don't stray in Solat. Yes it helps you focus in Solat better as you will realise that you are talking to Allah SWT and 
- He is talking back to you while you read the verses. 

How is this course different from an Arabic Language course?

If you have ever attended an Arabic language course, the main focus of those courses is for you to be able to converse or write in Arabic. But just ask any Arab guy you know, they may know the language but they might not understand the Quran. 

Isn't the Quran in Arabic?
 
The words of Allah swt in the Quran happens to be in the form of words that is beautiful yet profound. The level of Arabic language is higher compared to those spoken in the streets or for everyday use. Its like we understand English but it's difficult to understand the English Shakespear use. What more the words of Allah swt in the Quran. 

About the Course:

This course is the first 2 out of 6 modules for a student to complete the full syllabus. 

The course aims to familiarise students with the basic structures of Classical Arabic and to help the students in the basic comprehension of the language of the Qur'an. Emphasis is placed on reading and writing skills.

Prior knowledge of the Arabic writing and reading is essential. The approach adopted in teaching is grammar-based and students will also be introduced to high-frequency words in the Quran.

They are our exemplary role models where we can try to follow their footsteps in this 21st century.

National Service Workshop

Many Muslims are concerned about life in NS, especially on whether one will be able to guard the 5 daily prayers, which is an obligation one must fulfill. With knowledge and will, one will be able to do so, for there are indeed people who have gone through the toughest trainings in the jungle and the sea, while not missing even a single prayer in those 2 years. 

Elder brothers, with guidance by our local teachers, will share their little experience on how one can go through the thick and thin of NS life in serving our dear homeland, while maintaining one's obligations to The All-Merciful, especially concerning the 5 daily prayers, which is and will always remain the pillar of our blessed religion.
