Based on last Friday's khutbah, we would like to re-iterate a few lesson that we can learn from it.
1) Start our day early
The period before Subuh and the hours after it ( Dhuha ) has a lot of blessings in it. We are encourage to start early to perform Tahajjud and other solat sunnahs before starting our day. Insyallah more great things will happen to you.
2) Arrange our daily schedule around the 5 daily prayers.
Unlike other religions, we do have a very routine schedule. The discipline of time also reflects on the person how he performs his/her duties. Be it if you are a manager or cleaner or a mum managing your kids, lets do our best to do our day to day activities around the 5 daily prayers.
3) Organise our priorities and do things consistently
It gets very difficult when one gets very busy and drowned with their tasks. Sometimes, we need to step back a few steps and look at what is more important at that point of time.
Consistency or istiqamah is the hardest for many of us. The challenge is when we have to put a lot of thinking into the process and check facts. This could delay things and sometimes we abandon the ideas and it doesn't get out there or get done. This can be overcome with rigid routines.
4) Hasten to do good deeds.
We always reminded that there is blessings in performing good deeds. In our opinion, if we do no 1-3 right, this comes automatically. Do you agree? It starts with a smile to your family members when you wake up. :)

Is your baby due soon or just born today?
The joy of welcoming a new born is indeed an exciting journey in your life. We hope that the excitement is also shared by practising the Sunnahs.
For Muslims, we are encourage to celebrate this journey the same way how our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w practised it.
1) By giving Adhaan and Iqamah close to the child ears ( Done by the Dad/Grandfather)
2) By performing the tahnik.
3) By shaving the new borns hair.
4) By giving the child a name by the 7th day.
5) By offering an animal sacrifice. ( Aqiqah - 7th, 14th or 21st day )
Narrated Saiyidatina Aishah (wife of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم may Allah bless her): People used to bring their newborn children to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, and he would bless them and perform the Tahnik.
Narrated By Salmon bin ‘Amir Ad-Dabbi I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, ‘Aqiqah is to be offered for a (newly born) boy, so slaughter (an animal) for him, and relieve him of his suffering.”
Narrated Samurah ibn Jundub: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: A boy is in pledge for his aqiqah, Sacrifice is made for him on the seventh day, his head is shaved and he is given name. (Abu Dawood Book #15, Hadith #2832)

Quran Reading @ Home
Currently we are working towards to get more Quran teachers of various background, not just from the Qiraati group as we have been approached to find teachers that also uses the IQRA books and others.
This February 2019, there will be a lot of changes in structure and pricing. Look out for updates here.
Students that have registered before 1 February 2019, will not be effected by this change.
