Does your Heart beat faster when you are about to miss a Solat?

Assalammualaikum wr wb,
Recently we saw a video of an Ustaz in Malaysia sharing about how to know if your future son or daughter in law prays regularly or on time. Most often, we are not able to judge a person by his upfront appearance because one is able to lie to cover up however the heart doesn't lie. One with a strong heart and foundations will never take Allah swt to be second to another. So the Ustaz shared this to test such a person. He says wait for Maghrib prayers. Turn on the TV during this period and observe him or her. The first group - He or She still continues watching the TV while the Azan goes on and continues on for a good 10-15 minutes or even until the shows end, then he or she gets up to pray maghrib. The second group will look fidgety and keeps looking at the time even before Azan maghrib. Sometimes, they might even start to sweat and start asking you when can he/she solat without you prompting them. It's a simple test but it means a world of difference. It has to do with the heart. Our actions are much derived from how we train our heart. If we took care of it and trained it well, insyallah we will also prioritised whats more important. Let's trained out heart to follow Allah's commandments closely. |
Wish to feel different this Ramadan?
Will it be another Ramadan that whisk away without you feeling that closeness to Allah swt? Imagine praying like how the Prophet s.a.w and the sahabats did.
