Have you notice recently in the weekly khutbahs that the topics revolved around "As-maul Husna"or more known as the 99 names of Allah and His characteristics.

Extracts from the Khutbah.

Narrated by Imam Al Bukhari & Muslim, our Prophet Muhammad saw mentioned "Verily, Allah s.w.t has ninety-nine names: one less than a hundred. Whoever preserves ( memorises ) it will enter Paradise."

It was mention that one who memorised the Asmaul Husna will be granted jannah. However this was further elaborated by Al-Imam Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani in his book Fathul Baari, views that the Arabic term “Al-Ihsa’” means to memorise and not to count or merely repeat Allah’s names; but for us to reflect, internalise and operationalise its meanings. And the biggest objective in knowing Allah’s characteristics and names is for us to take lessons from its meanings.

On the 9th of February, we conducted the first course for Preparing for the End. That was the 1st of 4 sessions to be conducted this year. The session was definitely refreshing especially when it comes to the contemporary issues. Did you know the process to collect funds from CPF or insurance can take as long as 5 years when proper steps are not taken?

The team from Financial Alliance consisting of Ustaz Haron Masagoes, Zaid Masagos and Bro Abdul Halim emphasised greatly on the need for a Will in this time to help expedite the processes.

For the next course, the timings will be changed as we wanted the speakers to answer more questions and not rush the topics.
