[Newsletter] 19 March 2019

Assalamualaikum Wr Wb,

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, we ask for your peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad SAW. Thank you for subscribing to our mailing list. In shaa Allah this email finds you and your family in the best of health and imaan. May the peace and blessings of Allah SWT be upon you and your family, in shaa Allah.

"When you put a metal gate as your door, your heart will harden too"

Forgiveness. Such a big word. For a big heart who is willing to exercise it. Forgiveness is the element that drives the human spirit - but are we allowing this to free us from what can potentially be our peace?

But mentally, spiritually and emotionally we should forgive in order to give ourselves peace.

Why do we find it so hard and difficult to forgive someone? Maybe you will think back about the pains that person has caused, the heartache you felt before makes you hold down tight to the grudge and think "some things just cannot be forgiven and it is not easy to forgive and forget."

However, it is part of human nature that we make mistakes. Sometime, we make mistakes without deliberation and intention. But sometime, we deliberately sin and do wrong to others.
It is said; "To err is human and to forgive is divine."

As human beings we are responsible of all our actions; but we do also make mistakes and we are constantly in need of forgiveness from both, Allah and Human. Why? Because we do wrong in our relations to God as well as in our relations to each other.

It is not easy to forgive on things that have hurt us the most, that I agree. Your heart feels tight and sometimes you just suffocate to even stand in the same room breathe in the fresh air with the person that you "hate."

Alright speaking about hate, there has been a lot of heartbreaking incidents, disasters happening in the world lately. The most recent incident was the mass shooting massacre at Al-Noor Mosque in New Zealand; an act of terror towards our Muslim Brothers.

50 lives of innocent were forcefully taken on that blessed day during Friday prayer. An act of terror that have shook the whole citizen of Christchurch as well as the world.

In spite of everything that happened, this actually unite all human together; the care, love and support from non-muslims have given and showing to our Muslim brother and sisters in New Zealand is magnificent and heartwarming.

Do not hate the shooter. Islam do not teach us to hate the person but hate his intention and act; hate the sin not the sinner.

When you forgive, you're not forgiving for the benefit of those who hurt you, you're forgiving for your own peace, your own soul.

Forgive so that you can be free. Let the burden and weight off your shoulders. You deserve the peace and serenity that you could not get before.

The victims who were martyred, died as heroes. They were Allah's chosen ones. Death at the highest honor, while glorifying Him.

May their deaths increase the faith and patience of their families and the Ummah. Islam doesn't ends here. The trust upon us still lives. Keep on praying.

And this is the fourth life truth.

(Will be sharing more in the next newsletter!)

Preparing for the End

Islamic inheritance is an important knowledge for all to know. Do you know how Muslims divide the inheritance according to Sharia law when a loved one dies? The importance of learning this as also been mentioned in a hadith;

Narrated by Abu Hurairah R.A that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:

"O Abu Hurairah, learn about the inheritance and teach it, for it is half of knowledge, but it will be forgotten. This is the first thing that will be taken away from my nation."

We know how important money and wealth is to a person. Money can change life for the better, however with wealth also can make one selfish and stingy; even if it means to break a relationship between families just to get what they want. Money can break apart once a happy family into nothing.

Would you want to see your family members fighting and arguing over your money with each other? Where is the love and compassion for one another.

Islam is complete; it is a comprehensive way of life which covers all aspects of life without exception. Every issue has its own specific laws and code to solve it. Allah the Almighty will give justice to all His creations, everyone will be treated fairly.

Knowing your rights and what you are entitled to get from the inheritance of families will save your relationship. Don't get blinded by greed.

Hence in this workshop will help you to understand how to prepare for the end; writing your will and know your shares in inheritance.

Grab your seats now! Don't miss out this amazing workshop!
