Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, make me healthy in my body. O Allah, preserve for me my hearing. O Allah, preserve for me my sight. There is none worthy of worship but You. O Allah, i seek refuge in you from disbelief and poverty and I seek refuge in you from the punishment of the grave. There is none worthy of worship but you.
Ameen.

Today, we are finally ready to wrap up our discourse on how Pillars of Islam educates the concept of Giving.
We are now in the month of Zul Hijjah and in about 10 days, Muslims around the world will be celebrating Eid Adha. One of the observances that is central to this celebration is the annual pilgrimage or Hajj. Hajj is the 5th and the last Pillar of Islam. To me personally, these positioning come with it wisdom.
What is the wisdom?
Having discussed how the first four Pillars educate the concept of Giving, I believed Allah s.w.t imposed Hajj as the 5th and the last to act as a final test on His servants. It is to analyse, after educating the concept of Giving from several aspects of the religion, whether His servants have understood and are ready to Give. Because compared to other Pillars, Hajj is the hardest in its implementation from all angles.
Hajj alone becomes the witness towards several aspect of Giving. Among them are:
1. To GIVE your love ones in the hand of Allah s.w.t while they perform Hajj.
2. To GIVE your love ones in the hand of Allah while you leave them for Hajj.
3. To GIVE part of your wealth because Hajj today is expensive.
4. To GIVE part of your time out of your busy schedule because Hajj is a long journey and Hajj is about allocating your time for Ibadah.
5. To GIVE your energy because Hajj is all about performing Ibadah.
6. To GIVE your heart and soul to Allah because Hajj means fighting to detach yourself from the worldly world and devote yourself to Allah to get His blessings.
Now you see how Hajj is a form of test to measure our understanding on the concept of Giving?
Before committing in this bigger test, let's train ourselves slowly but consistently by engaging with the various Infaq Projects that we have to offer to you ALL YEAR ROUND!
