Still remember the article on Hijrah that we shared with you recently? The article where we mentioned that it is totally OK to go slow and steady, step by step, to fall and to breakdown while going through your Hijrah process. Today, we want to continue a little bit more on Hijrah before we move on to the new Islamic month. It is about befriending Allah s.w.t.
If you plan to Hijrah morally, I suggest you should start befriending Allah s.w.t. too. Like the lyric from Aladdin goes, "You will never have a friend like me". Yes! You will never have a company better than Allah s.w.t. Do not believe me?
Come let's see. The door of Taubah is always open for us to enter even though we keep repeating the same mistake even we choose to ignore the door, Allah s.w.t. is always waiting for us to cry on His shoulder. But we choose to cry on the shoulder of human being. Allah s.w.t is always waiting for us to ask from Him so that He could forgive us. But we choose to be arrogant and fail to prostrate to Him. See??
It's ok. Sometimes we fail to notice things? Neverthless let's start off befriending Allah s.w.t. by perfecting our Solat. But why Solat? Because in order of importance, Solat is the 2nd in the Pillars of Islam. So let's try to understand each line that we are reading in our Solat. When we start understanding what we are reading, we will feel closer and nearer to Allah s.w.t. Because instead of taking it as verses that we have to repeat during each Solat, it now
becomes a script that we prepare to talk to Allah s.w.t. It makes us feel as if we are really talking to him and he is standing near us listening. When this happen, you will eventually look forward in performing every Solat.
Trust me, it really makes a different to your life when you start befriending Allah s.w.t. Because the more you get closer to HIM, the more you will know about HIM and the more you will fall in love with HIM. And that will make your Hijrah easier.
