It is a common misconception that only the person who is preparing for death would prepare their will and so on. Most often people will forget about the executioner ~ the person who is appointed by you to retrieve the funds from the various sources such as your bank accounts, CPF, insurance payouts and business local or overseas ( if you have ). Once retrieve he/she is also the one to take charge of distributing the
assets.
Well our point here is that it's not just you who should attend this course, the person executing the will/faraidh should also know what to do.
He/She:
i) can be your next of kin, siblings, parents, close friends or a lawyer.
ii) can be trusted. As we all know when it's $10, $20 we can close an eye, however when it deals with thousands to millions in funds and assets, it's important to have someone that you can trust.
iii) have good relations with your family.
iv) is someone who can take charge, responsible and also be calm when tempers flare whenever family members argue among each other.
Perhaps this is also you. You are chosen by your spouse, sibling, parents or friends to represent them to be their executioners.
If you are coming for this workshop this weekend, remember it's not just about you preparing for your end, its also about the people around you and at the same time this knowledge will come useful when you have to execute it for others. And do bring along your potential Executioners.
