In the recent outbreak of the Wuhan virus, everyone is asked to take precautions. As of today, 5 confirmed cases have been identified in Singapore and more than 100 people have passed on in China.

Ensure that your family and you maintain your hygiene such as sanitize or wash your hands regularly and if you are not feeling well, please do not leave your home. Wear a mask if necessary however experts says that sanitizing and ensuring cleanliness around your home or work place is better as it will not allow the bacteria to breed. By the way our religion taught us to have the highest standard in cleanliness. Let's practise it. 

18 years ago, when SARs hit Singapore, it was a crazy mess as nobody was prepared for such incident. Today we are more prepared to face such crisis and as you can see in the news, it is handled very well by the authorities. The cases mentioned above are being monitored and quarantined, the people expose to them are being traced to ensure the outbreak does not go out of hand. 

Seek protection from Allah swt
