Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. All praises is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds - The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, Sovereign of the Day of Recompose. It is You we worship and You we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path - the path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked (Your) anger or of
those who are astray. Ameen.
When talking about Infaq, Sedekah, Wakaf or doing charity, most would think that this is a one time affair throughout their life time. Many would think by doing once is enough to prepare them for Jannah. Or probably one tend to be calculative when it comes to this topic. But never they knew that the more they give, more is waiting ahead of them. Be it in this world or the
world after, Infaq, Sedekah, Wakaf and doing charity plays a big role in changing their life.
Allah tells the believer to spend the things that they don't require and have in excess. The Al-Quran mentions INFAQ almost 60 times. Infaq is the redistribution of wealth that contributes to the suppression of poverty in societies. So Allah s.w.t. commands this elementary pious spending for His pleasure and sake.
Infaq is an important tool of income distribution. Thus, at different places of the Al-Quran, Allah s.w.t. says to Muslims to not only give Infaq but give as much as one can do beyond the requirements. Infaq in Islam holds a vital place. Thus, as practicing Muslims, we must always be ready to sacrifice for the sake of Allah s.w.t. The phrase or word such as "calculative",
"afraid that they will not have enough", "Oh I just gave last week" and etc should not be in our dictionary as a Muslim.
