إِنَّ اللّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
“Indeed, The God (Allah) is with the people who have patience”.
[Al-Baqarah: 153]
We are still in the midst of "fighting" the war of Wuhan Virus. Here and there we see people constantly getting themselves update of the situation, taking serious precautions, preparing themselves for the worse situation, government bodies giving necessary guidelines and measures to be taken and even mosques have taken the initiative to conduct Hajat prayer.
Nevertheless, in the midst of us "fighting" this war do not forget that this is all part of Allah's s.w.t. plan. Allah's s.w.t. plans are always beautiful. Be it in what ever situation, never ever doubt that. Do not you remember of HIS loving and merciful traits?
Thus, the accusations that have been circulating around such as this is Allah's s.w.t punishment, this is Karma are totally WRONG!!
As Muslims, we should take this situation as an opportunity to upgrade our Iman. How? Firstly, when something comes as a test, there is nothing else that Allah s.w.t. is asking from us but to remain patience. Secondly, when something comes as a problem, there is nothing else that Allah s.w.t. is asking from us but to find the solution and not grumble.
A Hadith that can relate to the current situation is "Allah did not create a disease for which he did not also create a cure." Thus, Muslims are therefore encouraged to explore and use both traditional and modern forms of medicine and to have faith that any cure is a gift from Allah s.w.t. Thirdly, when the problem or test is someone else misfortune, nothing else that Allah
s.w.t. is checking but to see the level of our kindness and selfishness. To see whether we will make Dua' for them or we will just remain stagnant. Remember, when we make a Dua' for someone, Allah s.w.t. will send an angel to make the same Dua' for us.
Meantime, do not stop believing in Allah's s.w.t miracles and do not stop taking care of yourself and people around you. May we always be under Allah's s.w.t. care and protection. Ameen.
