Assalammualaikum wr wb,
This year, due to the COVID-19 situation, Singapore may not have any Qurban done here as Masjids are not allowed to conduct any Eiduladha related activities as this will attract crowds and it may cause further outbreaks. Hence we are expecting a big bump in orders for our various overseas Qurban this year.
Myanmar added to the list
Similar to last year, we have had Myanmar in our list. We are able to confirm the prices and offer it to you. Due to the Covid situation, the prices of livestock in Myanmar has also increased by $10 compared to previous year.
As we are expecting a bump in orders, we would like to assure you that we do have plenty of stocks in the following countries - Kenya, India and Myanmar.
Premium Sheep
For Indonesia especially in East Java, stocks are limited because over the years we have sacrificed many sheeps there until there was a point that it was difficult to recover and to get the sheeps to be of required age and health for Qurban. Hence that is why we introduce Premium - Sheep which is done in Bandung, Western Java.
Why is it called Premium?
It is premium due to the size of the sheep. It is as big and heavy as those we slaughter in Australia. This location was discovered by one of our Singapore brothers from Aaliyah farm who also operates a sheep farm in JB, Malaysia.
Each sheep would weigh between 35kg and the balance after slaughter and removing organs will have around 18kg to 20kg for consumption. Compared this to the smaller sheeps which will have around 6kg-8kg of meat for consumption. It is worth the consideration.
