Dear ,

How's your Eid been? We hope it has been full with joy with family and friends. Like anything else, eid will pass us too. Celebrations in the past will just be memories however what matters is the now and the future. In Ramadhan we could have been consistenly going to the mosques to terawih and perform night prayers. How about in other months? Do we stop performing the ibadah? We hope not.

For those that have completed the 6 days of fasting, we congratulate you. For those who haven't do your best although we know the temptations of rendang, lontong, ketupat, satay goreng salivates you. I guess its actually the best time to practise self control. It was easier in Ramadhan right cos often the food won't be laid infront of you and you don't see others eating. Actually Ramadhan is just the training ground, the real amal is now!

So why fast 6 days?

The Prophet saw said, “Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days from Shawwal it is as if they fasted the entire year.” (Sahih Muslim)

Have it ever come across your mind, how did Rasulullah saw got to the conclusion that rewards are equal to a year of rewards?

After reading a few text on this, here's the simplified version.

1 good deed => 10 great rewards.

1 month of of good deeds => 10 months of great rewards.

6 days in Syawal => 6 x 10 = 60 days or 2 month of great rewards.

Which sums it up to 12 months or 1 Year.

The above is just a technical way of explaining the rewards that Allah swt has placed for us. It is just us to want it and take it. So it boils down to you.

There are many other questions that appeared when we posted this in FB. Example.

1) Can this 6 day fast be done in other months?
2) Can this 6 day fast be used to replaced the fast that you missed in Ramadhan? ( Especially for the ladies )

So dear seekers of knowledge, its high time to visit your Asatizahs and ask them these question. Make this part of the conversations when you visit them for Eid. :)

Most programs and activities will be starting in September again. If you have not been reading the Quran or rusty in your Arabic, well plenty of classes are popping up. Do check the whole list of courses and events at the bottom of this email.

Alhamdulillah. Sekali lagi kami ingin menjemput anda dan keluarga untuk bersama kami berselawat ke atas Rasulullah saw.

Pada majlis ini, Ustaz Ali Mohammad, Ust TM Fouzy & Ust Ibrahim Kassim akan turut menyertai kami menyampaikan tazkirah & Ust Ismail Aboul Anwar Hashim Sangafuri akan meyampaikan Qasidah . Majlis akan di bimbing oleh Al-fadhil Ust Mohamad Hasbi Bin Hassan. Turut serta juga ada asatizah-asatizah yang lain untuk menjayakan majlis ini buat julung-julung kalinya sempena perjumpaan Hari Raya Eid'ul Fitr.

Korban / Aqiqah 1434H in Indonesia

Based on our latest update by Ustaz Firdaus Masruhen whom have done this for more than 5 years, the Korban will be performed in one location for control and monitoring purposes. The meat will be then distributed to 7 locations. For further locations such as Pulau Lombok, the meat will be freezed and placed in portable fridges and sent over by plane from Surabaya.
