ISLAMIC FUNERAL & DEATH RITES COURSE

Truely death happens to everyone. But what if it were to happen to your love one. Are you prepared for it?

iok

In the past it is compulsory to have someone in our community to know the funeral procedures and execute it. Out of 10 people, 1 or 2 would know. Today ask ourselves this question, how many of us really know what to do if death happens in the family?

The situation then was perhaps different. The community back then lives in clusters either as family units or just a Malay or Indian village where guaranteed at least there is one Asatizah or Pak Imam in that area that knows the procedures.

So let's say its 1 person (that knows) to 10 people (that do not know).

Today probably we have over 20 jenazah companies and organisations in Singapore and probably a few thousand Asatizahs ( note that not all of them are trained to do Jenazah procedures). And we have over 500,000 Muslims in Singapore.

Imagine how the ratio has changed from 1 to 10 to probably now 1 to 1,000. (Figures are just based on assumptions)

In 10 years time, if nobody is doing anything about this, the ratio could be 1 to 10,000. Slowly we can see that the knowledge is being lost and lesser and lesser people are willing to retain this knowledge.

Signs of end of times?

Allahualam..

So what can we do? Though this knowledge is not for everyone but we believe that at least 1 person in a family should know. Especially the head of the family and the one taking over that position.

Why?

It's not just about bathing the deceased but what's more important is to be one to know how to react and keep the family calm in situations when death occurs. Because irrational decisions can cause unpleasant scenarios to happen.

Example. A wrong call can lead the deceased to be sent to post mortem (organs taken out for checks and place back) and delay for the burial. Eventually leading to many other problems. This could be avoided if you know the steps.

What if the deceased is neither a MALE or FEMALE (Transgender)?
What if the deceased passed away due to SARS, viral diseases and such?
What if the deceased have no family and nobody claims it?

So this is not just any other Jenazah Course. We dig deeper into such topics and ensure that you know what to do and what not to do when death really occurs.
