Synopsis

AN ISLAMIC STATE? serves as a discussion platform to understand and have an overview of the 
controversial islamic state (formerly known as ISIS), as well as its threats and implications in Southeast Asia. It also aims to clarify on whether it is truly a reflection of Islam and its Sharia Laws or purely political.

Dr Ahmed is an Associate Professor of Strategic Studies in the Military Studies Programme, RSIS, NTU. Come and join us as he sheds light on the issue, and have your questions answered!
