Alhamdulillah. We hope you are in the best of health and iman. This will be a quick newsletter as we wanted to highlight tonight's ILM Live. We apologise for not being able to announce these details as soon as we can because we are still trying to juggle many things lately. Especially in this new year, when jobs comes rushing to you. Hence a lot of things tends to get pushed back.

Death is certain. It will happen to us and it will also happen to our family members.

This course is to equip you with current knowledge and practises for such an event when it occurs. It is even more important for the men (leaders of the family) to learn this so that when death happens in the family, he/she would know how to react.

Example.

Why does the deceased needs to be put to coroner's case and leave it overnight when he/she passed away in hospital?

Many whom have not went through this process will end up being angry with the hospital staff and the police and begin scolding them and so on.

One of the misconception people have when death happen in the family, they want to settle it immediately ignoring protocols, laws and procedures. The reality is not so simple. Some deaths will take days to settle. In Islam is not about "immediately". It's about settling it "as soon as possible". It is important that you know the difference.

So imagine if one of your relatives got involve in an Airplane crash similar to Airasia incident. The search for the bodies takes days or months. How then do you deal with this.

So its important to take care of our manners while processes like coroners case (if ever happens), embalming (if arwah passed away overseas and send back here) and other kinds of cases emerge. It's really a test of patience.

So what is embalming?
Who bathes the transgender. The men or the ladies?

So much to learn and so much to know..

Hence this course is not just about bathing and wrapping the dead. There's more to it.
