All praises be to Allah swt, Lord of the Universe. Peace & Blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad (S), his family, his companions, to the teachers that are present and that have passed on. Assalaamualaikum ,We hope you are doing well this Ramadan. In the enjoyment of ibadah, we also receive news that some of our familiy members may have move on during this Ramadan. Let us doa for them and may Allah swt place them with the prophets and the sahabats in the hereafter. This is also a reminder for every one of us - How many more Ramadans can we experience? In surah Al Qadr.. Allah swt says, "Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree.
Instead of doing our best in ibadah, some of us will be busy preparing for Eid in these last 10 days. Let's reflect on this question. What if Ramadan never comes again to you? Will you regret it? Tonight begins the last 10 nights of Ramadan. And based on that surah above, the night of Power (Lailatul Qadar) will fall among these nights. For those who sets their heart to see this night, insyallah they will get it. So let's make an intention from now to see this night. For those whom have been missing terawihs and qiyams, its a good time to catch up. Similarly with reading the Quran. At the same time, donating to orphans and the poor. Paying your annual Zakat Fitrah and Zakat Harta. All these can be done in the last 10 days. The least we can do for this 10 days is to change our priorities for a short while and focus on our ibadah. Ramadan may not come to us again next year. Let's do our best. May Allah swt accept out ibadah. Ameen.
Updates from us. We have finally activated our dormant PTE LTD company which we have registered since 2 years ago. We are currently shifting our commercial operations under ISGN PTE LTD, And we will still maintain ISLAMICSG NETWORKS LLP to manage other aspects of the organisation. So don't be surprise if you see ISGN PTE LTD. This name is still under our umbrella company. Currently Souq.sg operations falls under ISGN PTE LTD. Insyallah other services like Aqiqah.sg, Hajj-E-Badal and Qurban.sg will be shifted to ISGN PTE LTD. ---------------------------------- Clearing & Purging of EmailsAs our list of emails are getting bigger by the day and we realise some of you have not open our emails for many months and this will incur a higher costs on us. Yes. Sending emails does cost money. So we will be clearing and purging emails just before Ramadhan. We will be removing any emails that have not open our messages since the start of the year. It is estimated to be around 2000 over emails to be removed. This will not affect you if you have opened our email messages since the start of the year. --------------------------- Dear , Read on.. |

Past Events
Although there were only 4 teams in this tech challenge, these groups were mighty impressive. Some of them don't even have any programming background but they had great ideas. Very often we hear people asking "How to do this and that?" Its not the "How", its the "Why". These groups had their reasons to participate and therefore they were also open to learning new things. Hence within 24 hours their prototype was ready.
1st prize went to team "SHH" comprising 3 friends which produce a prototype call "Go Mosque" which can help the community to update on the volume of people in the mosque. If this app ever launches in the market one can be informed on the population of the mosque at a certain period and one can make informed decision whether to divert to another mosque which have more space. Cool idea right? Let's hope through this program, these teams will get more funding and make this application a reality. Ameen. |
