Alhamdulillah, We are half way through the Wakf Madrasah @ Mt Tosari project. We hope to complete this infaq project by the end of next week and hopefully the project can be kicked off in January 2016. We will progressively update our wakifs insyallah.
In Ramadan our first infaq project - Project Clean Water received more than 150 wakifs and we have completed all the wells since then. We have been asked again to help to find wakifs for another 4000 more families. It's a bigger challeng now. Read on below for more details.
1) Wakf Madrasah @ Mt Tosari

The plan is to build a 2 storey building.
1st storey - A Musollah
2nd storey - Quran Centre / Madrasah
They require: 300,000,000 Rupiah or SGD $30,000.
Use for Purchase of Land (shown on above) and build the Madrasah. Currently the land is used to grow potatoes.
Funds are inclusive to support the first 6 months of operations.
Project estimated to complete within 1 year from start of project.
Start of project - Only happens when funds are sufficient.
So how can you help?
We are looking for 100 wakf participants, each contributing $300.
Why only 100?
We intend to create a plaque to put your names there and this will be placed at the Madrasah and hopefully when the students see the names, they also make doa for all of us for this cause. 100 names is a lot to be engraved hence we will only take this amount for this project.
Can you share this project with someone else?
Yes. However only one name will appear on the plaque.
You can also put Hamba Allah for this project.
Each participant will also receive a certificate with the Madrasah picture when its completed. Expected to be around 18 months after project starts.

2. Project Clean Water in Cambodia (Jan 2016)
There are many areas in Cambodia that require water to their homes. In this project we are aiming to assist 4,637 families from 3 communities in 25 villages to build them wells, water pump and filters to provide them with clean water.
A total of 583 wells are required to be built.

Q1) How can I support this project?
A) You may support this project to wakf one well for each family and your names can be up in the board.
Q2) How much is each wakf?
A) Each well, pumps and filtration system will cost around $600. You may wakf more than 1 well.
Q3) How many names can we insert on to the name board?
A)
i) We can allow up to 5 names. You can share 1 well with 5 friends, relatives, siblings, family. etc. You may also request to put "Hamba Allah".
ii) We have an option of only purchasing 1 part of a well - which will be shared with 5 people. There'll be additional cost due to the additional administration and printing/delivery of certificates.
Q4) How will I know the project has been completed?
A) You will receive a certificate and a photo of the completed well. We estimate this will take 3-6 months from the time you make your infaq. Processing will be done in batches of 100.
Q5) How do I make payment?
