In the name of Allah the most merciful and kind. Selawat and salam to Rasulullah saw, his family, his companions and the scholars of yesterday and today that have spread the Islamic Knowledge to us.
Alhamdulillah. Projek Wakf Madrasah Tosari managed to raise more than $30,000 in a span of 2 weeks in December 2015. Honestly we didn’t expect to raise the funds so fast.
As part of the amanah we had send our co-founder Fazli Mansor and our staff Khairul Anwar to Mount Tosari on the 6th of January 2016 to handover the 1st portion of the funds raised.
For those who are not familiar with this project. Here’s a background.
For the last 3 years, Mt Tosari is one of the distribution point for our Qurban project. Only last year (2015), the Imam, Ustaz Syamsul shared with us about about the need to get support to build a madrasah and Quran centre there.
Currently the madrasah classes are run in his home. As the numbers grew there is a need of a proper madrasah built for this purpose.
And when we came back from the Qurban project, we decided to take action on this and helped raised funds for this project. And as mention, within 2 weeks the funds was raised.
This is only the 1st trip out of 4 trips planned to monitor this project. Instead of just giving the whole sum of money, we were advised to give partially first and give more as the development goes.
Hence the 2nd trip will be in May 2016 just before Ramadhan. The 3rd trip will be in September 2016 during Qurban and finally in January 2017 and we hope to see the completed Madrasah by then.

We received an email from Ustaz Syamsul on 17th January 2016 and he showed us some photos where they have started work.
Below is the drawing of the supposed completed Madrasah.
With the support of the community around the village, the project has begun. They have begun to level the grounds and soon the piling works will begin.

Project Clean Water 2.
There are many areas in Cambodia that require water to their homes. In this project we are aiming to assist 4,637 families from 3 communities in 25 villages to build them wells, water pump and filters to provide them with clean water.
A total of 583 wells are required to be built.

Q1) How can I support this project?
A) You may support this project to wakf one well for each family and your names can be up in the board.
Q2) How much is each wakf?
A) Each well, pumps and filtration system will cost around $600. You may wakf more than 1 well.
Q3) How many names can we insert on to the name board?
i) We can allow up to 5 names. You can share 1 well with 5 friends, relatives, siblings, family. etc. You may also request to put "Hamba Allah".
ii) We have an option of only purchasing 1 part of a well - which will be shared with 5 people. There'll be additional cost due to the additional administration and printing/delivery of certificates.
Q4) How will I know the project has been completed?
A) You will receive a certificate and a photo of the completed well. We estimate this will take 3-6 months from the time you make your infaq. Processing will be done in batches of 100.
Q5) How do I make payment?
Payment can be made in the following ways
i) By Cheque
ii) By Bank Transfer
iii) By Debit/Credit Card
iv) We can also collect the amount from your home (Do email us to confirm)
