Wakf Madrasah Tosari updates
Assalammualaikum wr wb,
For those who just subscribed to this newsletter, here's a little background of this project. In December 2015, we raised about $30,000 SGD for this wakf project. And as advised by our advisors to give out the amount to the beneficiary in phases. In January 2016, we made the first trip to hand over the first 100 million rupiah ( Equivalent to $10,150 - after currency exchange ). Just a few weeks ago, our team went up again on the 19th April 2016, to handover the next 100 million rupiah
for this development. This project is expected to complete by January 2017.
We are glad to share with you the progress of this development.

Here is our co-founder Fazli Mansor (on the left) and Ustaz Syamsul (Imam Mt Tosari).
Alhamdulillah, we can see that this project is way ahead of its time and is already 50% completed.
Handing over the second batch of 100 million rupiah.
The team stayed overnight up there and had a trip to Mt Bromo after solat subuh which was just beside Mt Tosari. They returned to Singapore on 21st of April 2016.

The next trip to Mt Tosari will be in September 2016, together with the Qurban team.

Ramadan Mutton Project
Alhamdulillah. We would like to thank all the sponsors thus far. We have raised 1191 kg of mutton till date. 457 kg of Frozen meat and 734 kg of Fresh Meat.
Our target for this project is to achieve 4,000 kg of meat which will benefit 5 organisations in Singapore.

Ramadan Mutton Project
We have manage to raise about 21 cartons for this project. Our partners have raised 120 cartons due to 1 person sponsoring 100 cartons. However there have been more requests by various mosques for these cordials. There is room for more sponsorships.

Project Clean Water 2016
Alhamdulillah. A total of 152 wells have been wakf so far and 100 wells have been completed.

Preparing certificates and checks before posting out.
There are many areas in Cambodia that require water to their homes. In this project we are aiming to assist 4,637 families from 3 communities in 25 villages to build them wells, water pump and filters to provide them with clean water.
A total of 583 wells are required to be built.

Q1) How can I support this project?
A) You may support this project to wakf one well for each family and your names can be up in the board.
Q2) How much is each wakf?
A) Each well, pumps and filtration system will cost around $600. You may wakf more than 1 well.
Q3) How many names can we insert on to the name board?
A)
i) We can allow up to 5 names. You can share 1 well with 5 friends, relatives, siblings, family. etc. You may also request to put "Hamba Allah".
ii) We have an option of only purchasing 1 part of a well - which will be shared with 5 people. There'll be additional cost due to the additional administration and printing/delivery of certificates.
Q4) How will I know the project has been completed?
A) You will receive a certificate and a photo of the completed well. We estimate this will take 3-6 months from the time you make your infaq. Processing will be done in batches of 100.
Q5) How do I make payment?
Payment can be made in the following ways
i) By Cheque
ii) By Bank Transfer
iii) By Debit/Credit Card
iv) We can also collect the amount from your home (Do email us to confirm)
You are required to register into our system first for documentation purposes. Please select the infaq package and continue with registration. Payments details will be emailed to you once details are registered.
