This coming weekend Darul Ghufran, along with Islamic Events and Youth Innovates Mendaki Club are organising the Mosque Tech Challenge 2016. It is the launch of Masjid  Darul Ghufran's Smart Mosque Initiative. 

 

The Mosque Tech Challenge (MTC) comprises of learning workshops, discovery sessions and a 24hr+ hackathon that aims to bring youths closer to the mosque to seek, implement and share the best and coolest ideas with technology to benefit the community. 

There will be workshops leading up to the hackathon to introduce participants to some tools, and hence in the process of thinking about ideas, build our capacity for the skills and knowledge required - for the future. These workshops will be open to those who are not taking part too and will be free. 

Being creative and applying our knowledge for the good of the Ummah and to bring everyone closer to Allah is part of our Deen.
