Assalammualaikum wr wb, May you be in the best of health, iman and may Allah swt continue to bless your family and the people around you. We hope you have benefitted from the services we provide thus far. Since 2007, our organisation began with a 3-man team with only $175 capital then. Equipped with only Web development skills we embark on our journey to develop Islamicevents.sg. Alhamdulillah, Islamicevents have since grown in various phases to provide a wide array of services from Event Ticketing, Advertising, Video Streaming to Aqiqah, Qurban services and more. We have also come to a phase where we need funding to grow to the next level. As our Staff strength grew from 3 people to 10 people now, we need more working space, manpower and equipment to move forward. We are seeking individuals or groups who can provide us a qard al hassan for a total amount of $200,000.
Expanding Our Office. The current office we sit in can only accommodate up to 8 people. Having the tenth person in our office, we can already feel how cramp the office is already. Last month we have rented another office space to cater to our growing needs however we need to raise renovation fees to build a mezzanine level to enlarge the space so that we can cater up to 15-20 working staff for the next 5 years. Manpower Growth Our Current Strength 1 x Chief Khadam or CEO Future Hires. As we continue to grow, the following will be our next inline for future hirings. - Human Resource Manager Funds required: $50,000
Vehicle & Equipment Van or Lorry - As our Video Services gain more popularity, there is a need for vehicles to transport our equipments from place to place. Our current van will end its COE by end April 2017. We hope to get a replacement very soon. - IT equipments: Laptop and desktops are always in need as we expand our staff strength. - Video Equipments: As this services grows, there is also a need to maintain and add equipments to ensure that we are able to perform the tasks professionally. Funds required: $50,0000
Funding Options We have looked into various ways to fund our future growth. Among them are to look for high value investors, taking a bank loan or crowd funding loan. As we explore the possibilities, we have always been driven towards the third option - Crowd Funding Loan. Initially we wanted to go towards getting a bank loan however in Singapore, there are no banks that provides Zero Interests Loan. As an organisation doing work for the Islamic community, we would not want to gain Allah’s wrath as we know from Surah Al-Baqarah, (Verses 278 & 279), what can be translated as, "O you who believe! Fear Allah and give up what remains (due to you) from riba (from now onward), if you are truly believers. And if you do not do it, then take a notice of war from Allah and His Messenger but if you repent, you shall have your capital sums. Deal not unjustly, and you shall not be dealt with unjustly Interest or Usury is something which we would like to avoid at all cost. What does this means? Crowd Funding Loan is a Loan taken from the Community only to be paid back in the expected timeline promised and instead of asking 1 person or 1 Organisation for the loan, it is spread out to a number of individuals or groups. And we are looking for such individuals or groups to consider the Zero Interest Loan.
