It gives us great pleasure to announce that PPIS As-Salaam will be having its inaugural Parenting Forum titled: "Ibubapa Selamanya - Melayari Cabaran Keibubapaan Bersama Selepas Perceraian".
This Forum will be conducted in Malay and is meant not only for divorcing individuals in the Malay/Muslim community, but also for divorced single parent families and their significant others such as supportive family and friends. We hope that this Forum provides a platform of sharing and learning on what are the challenges in co-parenting and ways to address them as well as to encourage participants to seek assistance from agencies like PPIS As-Salaam should they need help.
We believe that with a positive, sincere and hopeful approach in discussing challenging issues related to co-parenting after divorce, the Forum participants will be able to learn new skills, ideas and be simply inspired to rebuild their lives and have a more harmonious relationship with the parents of their children.
