Lastly, we have a video of the fatwa ruling on CPF. Every Singaporean citizen, upon starting full time employment, will have a CPF account, and after several years, that CPF account will grow. In accordance to Islamic jurisprudence, a Muslim must give zakat for his or her accumulated wealth. So how does one pay zakat when they are unable to withdraw the money accumulated in the CPF account? Watch and learn from Mufti Ustaz Dr. Fatris Bakaram. (Video is in Malay)
